Botanizing in Patagonia

Bella Seiden and Barbara Cooper
Bella and Barbara will share a selection of their photos of the flora of Patagonia and some highlights of their journey there.

Speaker

Bella Seiden and Barbara Cooper

Barbara Bella have been gardening together in Toronto for more than 20 years. They have developed a particular interest in seeing plants in their natural habitat. Their first big trip in 2012 was to South Africa to see plants in their Spring. In 2014, they decided to travel to Patagonia. They chose to go alone, renting a car and engaging guides where they thought it would enhance their experience. They were there for a total of four weeks most of which were spent in Argentina. Their talk will present highlights of the time spent botanizing there. Since then they have travelled in Wyoming and Colorado, Lesotho and Chile.
