- Ads will appear in the Journal. They will also be posted on the website on a 12 month trial basis starting January 2012.
- Advertising via e-mail is to be avoided and requires approval as an exception.
- The advertiser must be a paid-up member.
- There must be room for the ad. We offer no guarantees that the ad will appear.
- The ad should have a horticultural connection.
- Ads should be brief notes written and “signed” by an identified member and addressed to fellow members.
- It is acceptable to include a link or reference to more extensive external advertising e.g. a realtor’s listing.
- Members can submit ads for other horticultural groups. We do not exclude ads from members related to their business.
- We exercise discretion regarding the frequency of such ads.
- We do not charge for these ads because we believe they provide a service to our members.
- These rules regarding advertising do not apply to notices or promotional material regarding ORG&HPS core activities and fundraising events.
