Donating plants: please bring your plants to TBG between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on September 10.
Plants must be clearly labelled. Additional information written on the back of the label helps the buyers! We would appreciate a recommended selling price to be included on each label. (All proceeds go to ORG&HPS)
Guidelines for pricing plant sale donations:
If the plant is something not commonly found in nurseries or stores, price starting at $5; higher if it's a good size plant or division. If it's a young plant that is still quite small, perhaps $3.
Anything left at the end of the sale will go half-price.
All plants not bought must be taken home by the donor.
ORG&HPS policy on Jumping Worms:
At this time, no special treatment to eliminate Jumping Worms and their eggs is required before plants are offered for sale at ORG&HPS meetings.
Read Barbara Peat's excellent article on Jumping Worms.
Come, enjoy our first member/vendor sale in years!
