Laura Grant was introduced to horticulture as a child by family members.

She has gardened in Toronto for the past forty years. Her particular love is grafting, budding, and other forms of plant propagation, as well as garden design. Laura is always trying to grow “ungrowables”, and to much the limits of hardiness.

Laura is a Master Gardener, has been the Executive Director of the American Rhododendron Society, founder of the Ontario Water Garden Association, and member of the Garden Writers Association, among many other affiliations.

Currently Laura divides her time between her garden in Toronto and her property in Niagara where she is experimenting with interesting tender plants from the Southern Hemisphere.
